My name is Kevin Wayne Durant, but most people know me as KD. I was born on September 29, 1988, in Rockville, Maryland. Growing up, sports were a big part of my life, and I was especially passionate about basketball.

I began playing organized basketball at the age of 14, and by the time I entered high school, I had already developed a strong passion for the game. My hard work paid off, as I led Montrose Christian School to three consecutive national championships from 2004 to 2006.

In 7.html">2007, I entered the NBA draft and was selected second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics. Although the team relocated to Oklahoma City in 2008, I remained with them and helped the Thunder win their first playoff series since 1979.

After seven seasons with the Thunder, I joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016, where I won two consecutive NBA championships alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. In 2017, I became a free agent and signed with the Brooklyn Nets.

Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my achievements on the court. I am a four-time NBA scoring champion, five-time NBA All-Star, and six-time NBA All-NBA selection. Off the court, I am committed to giving back to my community through various charitable initiatives.
